President’s Address:

To Takeoff in the Year of Dragon, To Make a Greater Plan with Noble Ambition

Time elapses fast and the old year has gone. Across time and space, we welcome the New Year. When standing on the divider of time, I feel an upsurge of emotion in retrospect of the past and present. Each time at the end of a year, we wave farewell with complex emotions; every time at the beginning of a year, we are full of vitality with prospective dreams for the future. On the occasion of Biding farewell to the old year and welcoming the new year, I, on behalf of the Board of Directors, express our heartfelt gratitude to all leaders at all levels, friends from all walks of life and domestic and foreign partners who has fully supported our company’s development in the past few years; I also convey our warm regards and cordial greetings to all employees industriously working at their positions and all their family members obscurely supporting their works. 

The past one year’s course was combed by wind and bathed by the rain, with glorious flowers in spring and solid fruits in autumn, during which, we were full of ambition and resulted with great achievements. Looking back upon the last year, Year 2011 is a year of historical connecting link and a year of strong development for Tianhe; it would go down in Tianhe’s development history with great importance.

I would never forget the day when the joint stock company was founded. It dramatically improved Tianhe’ ability to adapt new situations, grasp new opportunities and tackle challenges.

I would never forget the days and nights during the construction ofEnvironment–protective Project. We successfully dragged Tianhe to a high-speed development module with our intelligence and great efforts.

I would never forget the win-win co-operation with institutes of higher learning. Liaoning University of Science and Technology lend talents and cultivated talents for us, which plugged wings of technology for Tianhe.

I would never forget I edged myself into Bo’ao Forum with proud. Tianhe would continue stepping out to the world and making a historic leap.

I would never forget the enlightened concerns of the leaders at all levels and all-out support of friends from all walks of life, which has created a broader developing space and environment for Tianhe.

Unforgettable things present themselves vividly in my mind one piece after another. They would turn out to be deep memory and become our precious assets.

Along with the New Year’s bell, we embrace the first ray of sunshine of Year 2012 and set out new journey.

“If you can make things better for one day, you should make them better every day and never stop doing this.” (A famous quotation from one of ancient Chinese classics named the Great Learning). We should hold high the banner of innovation which is the essential driving force for a prospective corporation. Development is brilliant on account of innovation, and innovation grows sturdily in the course of development. Relying on technology innovation to expand domestic market share and accelerate the process of internationalization, we shall strive forwards on the road of self-directed innovation, and never stop. 

“Things in harmony could yield pleasant results.  Music with attuned rhythms is melodious to ear; articles with coherent contexts are agreeable to read; meals with coordinated tastes are delicious to eat.” (a quotation from one of ancient Chinese works Zhengyu in Guoyu). Harmony is the most valuable treasure and the eternal theme of our company. “Nothing is unconquerable when gathering all powers; nothing is unsuccessful with collective wisdoms.” (a famous ancient Chinese proverb). Our corporate aspiration is to build an” internationally celebrated production base for pre-melting metallurgy materials”. Talents are guarantee for this goal and the No. one resource. The structuring and improving of the Talent Supporting System is an inexhaustible source of sustainable development.

“Solutions depend on human effort; human depends on mental power.” The mentality is always a fundamentally decisive factor and of far-reaching significance for the failure and success of an enterprise. For Tianhe’s sturdy growth and accelerated development, the most important factors are mental power, passion and faith. With a good state of mind, full of passion and faith, we are able to surmount any difficulties, however great and complete any task, however tough. We have done this before and will continue to do so in the future. Only by this way, shall our endeavor be as stable as Mount Tai, and advance with brilliant glow and irresistible force.

The wind is mild and the wave is calm, and our business sailboat is steering forward with pride and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, there is before us heavy responsibility and a long way to go, and we sense that the east wind is raging high waves. Facing with ever-changing situations and looking forward to the bright future, we need to keep abreast with them and plug into all works of Year 2012, fully equipped with new spirits, actions and vigor, developing through reforms, progressing in development, to realize dreams on Tianhe’s prospective land and accomplish splendid achievements!
